The year progresses; however, just keeping one person out of jail for six months saves the County tax-payers $14,333.15, in housing costs alone. The opportunity to obtain and keep a good job, and live in a safe environment enhances the chances of staying out of jail. From July 1 through December 31, 2010, we had a total of 2,958 man/days of participation. This equates to a savings of $235,545.54 The people we work with have started to develop a relationship with their Savior, and are applying what they learn to their daily lives. They truly make good employees and good neighbors, and work hard to be a responsible, Christ centered, individuals.Taxes Saved... And Souls Saved!!!

Mentors matter...

What these people all have in common is a Mentor who is grounded in a church relationship and wants to simply be a friend. They are a non-judgemental sounding board who can readily provide advice and direction. They have someone who can show them how to overcome adversity and persevere.
